FESTIVALS and MARKET DAYS are a colorful and deep-rooted tradition in the Maya highlands dating back to ancient times, and they are an important feature of our tours. It is an excellent time to visit the communities as the villages really come alive during these days, and they give a fascinating insight into daily indigenous life.
