Cielo y Tierra Tours is a small, friendly tour company based in the highland colonial town of San Cristobal de Las Casas in the southern state of Chiapas, Mexico.
We specialize in private day tours that take you beyond the guidebooks and into the beautiful pine-forested mountains surrounding San Cristobal, where you'll discover a vibrant
living Maya culture.
Visiting the Maya villages is a wonderful experience as the highland Maya cling proudly to ancient customs and traditions (many of which can be traced back over 1,500 years ago) and weave them into their daily lives.
All our excursions are personally guided by Alex Aranda, the owner and founder of Cielo y Tierra Tours, which means you benefit from a professional and experienced tour leader who is dedicated to providing excellent service with a personal touch.
